Castle Learning: For those of you who have heard about www.castlelearning.com and may be interested in creating an account for you and your students, below are the instructions. This program is great for the students to do reviews at home and for use in the lab for quizzes etc. This program is given to us right now at no charge. Take a look and see if it is something you may want to use. We have already had teachers bringing their students to the lab to do online quizzes and reviews.
The pattern used for the Castle Learning Online Teacher IDs is the prefix "sh." followed by the full first name, followed by ".", followed by the full last name; apostrophes, spaces, periods and diminutives such as Jr were omitted.
Teachers must sign in the first time with the Default Teacher Password: welcomeTeachers will then choose a password to use on subsequent sign-ins. Follow steps below.
Go to CastleLearning.com and where it says "Sign into Castle Learning Online", type in the ID at the prompt
In the Password field, enter the Default Teacher Password
Click the sign-in button
Follow the steps to choose a new password
Please encourage all users to sign in and set a password as soon as possible in order to protect their accounts
Student logins are sh.student id
The first time they login, they should leave the password field blank. When it asks them to create a password, they should use the following formula: first two letters of their last name + MMDDYY (birth date).
